You've gotta Regatta!!!

I think you will agree that You've Gotta Regatta once you see this amazing paper pack and these adorable layouts.  This collection just screams SUMMER!!  In an effort to keep these layouts versatile, I concentrated on the Explore and Adventure compliments so really any photos can be used.  I finished this workshop off with the leftover Lobsters to make the adorable card (also included).  Does everyone know where the "You are my Lobster" saying comes from??

** SEE COST AND DETAILS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST **

Let's take a closer look:

LAYOUT 1 - Dream, Explore, Discover
This beautiful layout combines the coordinating floral complements with some cricut cuts to complete the title.  You can fit four 4x6 and two 3x4 photos on this layout!  **Click the photos below for a Close Up View of the details.

LAYOUT 2 - Adventure/Happy Place
On this layout, I wanted to concentrate on the more traditional beach colors, using Glacier, Flaxen, Desert Sand and Sapphire. We add just a little bit of stamping to complete this layout using the My Anchor Stamp Set, perfect for these pages! You can fit four 4x6 and two 3x3 photos on this layout!  **Click the photos below for a Close Up View of the details.

The Card: You Are My Lobster

Very simple and really the idea came to me when trying to use up the last of the compliments.  Any Friends fans here???  If so, you will know exactly what this card means!

What is included:
For only $25, you will get to complete 2 two-page layouts (that's 4 pages total) and a greeting card. If you would like the coordinating BONUS ADD ON - Maritime Puffies for an additional $4, please let me know at the time you sign up for the workshop.

All pieces are pre-cut and ready to assemble. All you need is your basic tool kit, including scissors, adhesive, glue dots, pop or foam dots and a ruler is always helpful.

Embellishing with Close To My Heart

This project was inspired by our challenge on Between The Folds, which is a Close To My Heart Blog meant to challenge your creativity!  We hope you play along!

The current challenge was "CTMH Embellishments"... and we had to use any type of CTMH embellishments on our project!  This is such a fun challenge because an embellishment is really just a decorative detail or feature added to something to make it more attractive... so the possibilities are endless!  Let your creativity flow and see what you can come up with!!

I chose to make a simple card, which literally took me about 10 minutes.  Using two of our Picture My Life cards from the "Beautiful You" collection, I stamped the HI from one of our retired M-sized mini stamps.  I chose to fill the HI with the Flamingo Dots so it really pops in color and brings out the pink on the PML card.  I love how these cards already include the gold accents, creating a very modern look.  I decided to add a little color on the bottom of the stamped image, so I used our Blending Pen, along with our Hollyhock and Pixie Ink to add just a bit of coordinating color.

Don't forget to check out the inspiration from the other designers over at Between The Folds Weekly Challenge... we hope you will play along!

Embossing with Pretty Penelope

Let me introduce you to Penelope.  This paper collection is just beautiful.  It just screams Spring and Easter.  This workshop was inspired by the Penelope Challenge over at Between The Folds Blog.

I saw this layout a long time ago while browsing google for Spring Layouts and I just knew I had to make it.  I love how it turned out.  I think I may use black and white photos on this layout!

Here is a closer look!

This newest challenge at Between the Folds Blog is an Embossing Challenge!  Check out how I embossed the tree trunk with our CTMH Woodgrain Embossing folder.  I also embossed the trees and the leaves, but used non-CTMH folders that I had on hand!

Here is a closer look!
